The Lonely Forest mentioned by Death Cab for Cutie!

The Lonely Forest were mentioned by Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie in a piece on CNN.com entitled “Death Cab for Cutie Moved by the Music.

When asked “What bands are you listening to these days? Who do you really like?” Walla responded:

“There's a band from Seattle called the Lonely Forest whose record I just picked up. They're a new band, it came out few weeks ago, and that's totally doing it for me right now.”

The band has two upcoming shows opening for Jeremy Enigk on Wednesday, the 13th and Thursday, the 14th in Bellingham and Seattle.
